Parents and Grandparents can visit Canada to stay with their loved ones with Super visa. A Super Visa is initially valid for 2 years after which it can be renewed. Super Visas allow parents and Grandparents to come to Canada as long-term visitors on a multiple entry visa up to 10 years.

Visitors who are admissible to Canada who are already in possession of a valid temporary resident visa are granted six months stay from the date of their arrival. Their passport will be stamped at the port of entry and are expected to leave at the end of the six month period from that date, but there are certain circumstances that might warrant an extension of their stay, which is subject to approval by Canadian Immigration authority.
